Angus Gill - Postcards [CD]
Recorded in Nashville with Grammy winning musicians and featuring special guests from across genres, Postcards celebrates Australia’s rich musical legacy while introducing it to new audiences.
The album features an all-star cast of guests, including Gang Gajang’s Mark Callaghan, soul powerhouse Deni Hines, country-pop standout Melanie Dyer, Country Music and Rock & Roll Hall of Famer James Burton on dobro, and Grammy winner Ronnie Bowman. Postcards also showcases a powerhouse lineup of Nashville bluegrass legends, including Tim Crouch (fiddle, mandolin, double bass, banjo, acoustic guitar), Randy Kohrs (dobro), Scott Vestal (banjo) and Ron Block (banjo, acoustic guitar).
The tracklist includes: Come Said The Boy, The Sounds Of Then (feat. Mark Callaghan), Message To My Girl, That’s When I Think Of You (feat. Deni Hines), Please Don’t Ask Me (feat. James Burton), Somebody That I Used To Know (feat. Melanie Dyer), My Mistake, Freckles, Clementine and I’ll Go Off.
