The music on the album, ‘The Fear Engine’ encompasses elements of alt rock, cinematic, and pop music as each of the ten tracks is framed around a different question introduced by dialog aiming to illuminate The Fear Engine, an unconscious driving force within us.

Melbourne based composer Petra Salsjö has scored the original motion picture soundtrack to the bold new Australian feature film The Flood. Petra rose to the challenge of creating a wide variety of sounds and moods to accompany the striking new film.

The Original Soundtrack composed and produced by Melbourne based, Polish born composer Cezary Skubiszewski is a mix of Latin infused jazz, French café cabaret and sweeps of orchestral grandeur. Skubiszewski has used a variety of talented musicians to create the score including Belgian singer songwriter Moogy Morgan, pianist Luke Howard, on violin Nigel McLean, Jon Hunt on clarinet and Saxophone and piano accordionist George Burtrumis.
