New single from Cactus Face "Darwinism"

“Darwinism” is the second single released by Cactus Face, Dresden-based composer Michael Mortlock's latest project.

"Darwinism" blends together some playful melodic keys with downtempo/hip-hop inspired beats. The song was inspired by the playful metamorphosis of evolution. The instruments represent this harmony as the elements weave together in a colorful spectrum of sounds.

Teaming up with Dresden-based artist Andre Schulze, the artwork and visual campaign create a surreal vision of a larger-than-life take on the illustrations of Charles Darwin, as giant animals roam the planet.

Mastering has been sealed by frequent friend and collaborator Emanuel ‘Emu’ Uch – also based in Dresden.
