ORiGiN™ Recordings is an independent Australian music label part of the ORiGiN™ Music Group. The ORiGiN™ Redordings label has been established alongside ORiGiN™ Music Publishing since the mid 1990’s. The label has covered a wide range of musical styles and initiatives including Air Land Sea’s self-titled debut album (2019), comedic albums from the incomparable Bob Downe, the debut album for the Australian Art Orchestra, Award winning Jazz titles from the Paul Grabowsky Trio, Shelley Scown (with the PG trio), Scott Tinkler, Kerrie Biddell and composer Peter Dasent.
Other releases have included hit singles from Diana Anaid with her debut “I Go Off” and the follow-up “Perfect Family”. ORiGiN™ Recordings has had 8 albums reach final nominations in the ARIA Award categories with three wins including the ground-breaking "Serious Tam" album from Papua New Guinea artist George TELEK.
Released through the ORiGiN™ Recordings label, the Original Soundtrack Recording by Australian composer Cezary Skubiszewski for the documentary feature film MONSIEUR MAYONNAISE had notable success, winning the ACCTA award for Best Original Music Score in a Documentary & ASSG award for Best Achievement in Sound for a Documentary. Cezary produced the score in Melbourne with a wide range of musicians including Belgian songstress Deborah “Moogy’ Morgan and pianist Luke Howard.
